Lucknow: A road accident escalated into a deadly clash between two families in Dholiya village in Hardoi on Friday, leaving three people dead including a 70-year-old farmer and two brothers.According to police, the incident occurred when Shivam (30) and his younger brother Aman (17), allegedly hit Bharat Pandey alias Devisahay (70) with an SUV near a primary school. The elderly man died on the spot.Following this, the deceased’s four sons—Anup, Atul, Chhuttene and Shyam— reached the accused’s house to confront them. The situation escalated into a violent altercation. During the clash, Shivam and Aman were severely beaten and sustained critical injuries. Both were rushed to a medical facility, where doctors declared them dead.Senior officers, including SP Ashok Kumar Meena, SP West, MP Singh, reached the spot along with police force. “Multiple teams have been formed to arrest those involved in the assault. The matter is being investigated from all angles,” police said. To prevent any further tension, heavy police deployment has been made in the village.
