Lucknow: UP govt will provide free travel in roadways buses for women aged above 60 years. In the first supplementary budget for 2026-27, a provision of Rs 100 crore has been made to reimburse the UP State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) for implementing the initiative. BJP had promised this measure in its Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra.The decision will provide financial relief to millions of senior women across the state, enabling them to travel for religious, social, family, and healthcare-related needs.
