Lucknow: A power department contractor was brutally hacked to death in Gorakhpur’s Sikriganj area on Saturday evening. Police linked the murder to an old family rivalry stemming from a murder in 2024. Five were detained and are being questioned about the motive.The incident took place at Ahirauli village when Shiv Kumar Tripathi (50) was attending a community feast.
