SRINAGAR: J&K police’s counter-intelligence wing arrested two individuals on Monday for allegedly disseminating anti-national content, radical narratives, and extremist viewpoints through social media platforms.The arrests followed raids on Saturday across five locations in Baramulla, Bandipora, Anantnag, and Shopian districts, where digital devices were seized in a case registered under UAPA. Equipped with incriminating evidence, police arrested Mehran Qazi from Anantnag and Babar Hamid from Sopore.
