Lucknow: The Youth Federation of India (YFI) hosted its first ‘Lucknow Meet & Greet’, titled ‘Where Heritage Meets the Future’, at the Lucknow Museum of Heritage and Art (LMHA). The event brought together young entrepreneurs, professionals, students, artists, writers, creators, business leaders and emerging changemakers from across the city on Monday.Founded by Raghav Prakash and Arsh Ali Chandel, YFI aims to create a platform where young Indians can connect beyond their existing networks, exchange ideas and collaborate on meaningful initiatives.The gathering explored how Lucknow’s rich heritage can inspire the future.Participants discussed the city’s tehzeeb, hospitality, literature, craftsmanship, arts and plural cultural identity, emphasising that heritage should remain a living source of inspiration rather than simply something preserved in museums.Discussions focused on opportunities and challenges facing young Indians, including technology, entrepreneurship, creative industries, education and the digital economy.Participants highlighted the need for mentorship, professional networks, incubation opportunities and platforms that can connect young talent with wider opportunities.YFI founder Raghav Prakash said, “YFI creates meaningful connections that lead to ideas, collaborations and action. We want young Indians to come together, stay rooted in their heritage, and work collectively to shape the future.”
