Lucknow: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) on Tuesday joined hands to strengthen the industry-academia ecosystem for AI skilling in Uttar Pradesh.According to the agreement, the two institutions will contribute to creating a larger pool of digitally skilled and employable youth.The partnership will facilitate the implementation of ‘Dreams Unlocked: Building an AI-Ready India – Skilling the Youth on AI’, a national AI and ML skilling initiative launched by CII with the support of HP.The initiative aims to equip students with practical and industry-relevant knowledge in AI, ML, Python programming, data analysis and generative AI through a 30-hour self-paced online learning programme.Supported by the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the programme features learning content developed by experts from IIT Madras and is approved by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET).
