Lucknow: The body of a 35-year-old man was found inside a freezer at a veg biryani shop in Bakshi Ka Talab (BKT) area on Sunday morning. The deceased was identified as Vijay Pal, a resident of Kishanpur Majra under the BKT police station limits.According to police, the shop had remained closed for the past four days following the death of the shop owner Shani Rawat’s father. When Rawat arrived to reopen the outlet on Sunday morning, he was shocked to find a body inside the freezer. He immediately raised an alarm. Police recovered the body from the freezer and sent it for post-mortem. Family members said Vijay Pal, a daily wager, had been living alone since separating from his wife five years ago and was addicted to alcohol. ADCP (North Zone) Rishabh Runwal said the post-mortem could not ascertain the exact cause of death.
