Lucknow: Farmers contributing more than 10 acres of land to the Lucknow Development Authority’s (LDA) Wellness City land-pooling scheme will be allotted 50% of their undeveloped plots along the project’s green corridor, LDA vice-chairperson Prathamesh Kumar said on Thursday.During an inspection of the 485-hectare project between Sultanpur Road and Kisan Path, Kumar directed officials to reserve plots along the corridor for eligible farmers. So far, LDA has received land-pooling proposals covering about 200 hectares.While 125 developed plots were allotted in the first lottery, another 200 are scheduled to be allotted next month.The 6.5-km-long, 24-metre-wide green corridor connecting Shaheed Path and Kisan Path is currently under construction and will be linked to four major roads within Wellness City.Kumar also reviewed Carnival 365, an entertainment hub being developed near the urban wetland in CG City, and directed officials to make it operational within two months. The facility will feature 10 food kiosks, indoor and outdoor gaming zones, and amusement rides.
