Lucknow: The state govt has increased the honorarium for outsourced employees of the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) by 5%, with the revised rates effective from July.The enhanced payment will apply to computer operators, accountant-cum-tally operators and programmers working with the transport corporation on an outsourced basis.Minister of state for transport (independent charge) Dayashankar Singh said the corporation has a provision for a 10% annual increase in honorarium for outsourced personnel, implemented in two phases: a 5% hike in Jan followed by another 5% hike in July.Singh said these employees support key functions across the corporation through technical expertise and services, and added that the govt remains sensitive to the interests of employees and staff members.
