The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, has declared the written examination result for the Recruitment 2025-26 drive covering Group A, B and C non-teaching posts. The result was released on March 2, 2026, on the official website, cbse.gov.in.The recruitment notification was issued on December 2, 2025, inviting applications for 124 vacancies across various posts. The online application window remained open from December 2 to December 27, 2025. Candidates who appeared in the examination can now access the result, along with the cutoff marks and merit list, through the official portal.Recruitment drive for 124 non-teaching postsThe recruitment process was conducted to fill 124 vacancies in different Group A, B and C categories. The posts notified include Assistant Secretary, Assistant Director, Accounts Officer, Superintendent, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant. All appointments are to be made on a direct recruitment basis.As per the notification, the age limit varied according to the post applied for. The cut-off date for calculation of the age limit was December 22, 2025. Age relaxation provisions are applicable as per existing rules.Candidates were advised to refer to the detailed notification for specific educational qualifications prescribed for each post.Examination schedule and key eventsThe written examination for various Group A, B and C posts was conducted on January 30, 31 and February 1, 2026, in multiple shifts. Prior to the examination, details of exam cities were made available from January 17, 2026.The answer key was issued on February 11, 2026, enabling candidates to review their responses. The final written examination result has now been published on March 2, 2026.The application form correction facility was provided on December 29 and 30, 2025, following the closure of the application process. The last date for submission of the application form and payment of fees was December 27, 2025.Application fees and selection processThe application fee for General, OBC and EWS candidates applying for Group A posts was Rs. 1,750, while for Group B and C posts it was Rs. 1,050. For SC, ST and PWD candidates, the fee was Rs. 250. Payment was accepted through online mode only.The selection process comprises a written examination, followed by a skill test where applicable, document verification and a medical examination. Candidates shortlisted in the written examination will proceed to the next stages as per the recruitment guidelines.
