Anthropic shipped inline visual creation across all Claude plan tiers, letting the model generate interactive charts, diagrams, and structured visualizations directly within conversations. Unlike artifacts, which live in a side panel, these visuals are ephemeral and context-dependent – they shift as the conversation moves. Users can prompt them explicitly or let Claude decide when a diagram would clarify something. The feature is a beta continuation of “Imagine with Claude,” first previewed last fall. Both ChatGPT and Gemini have been pushing visual output capabilities in recent months, and Anthropic clearly felt the pressure to close that gap, though the focus here is narrower – data visualization rather than image generation.
