Lucknow: The city witnessed early summer-like conditions on Friday as afternoon temperatures in March climbed to levels typically seen in April. Both day and night temperatures remained above the seasonal average. The maximum temperature reached 35.3 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled at 19 degrees Celsius. The IMD has also issued a hailstorm alert for parts of eastern UP and the terai belt. Lucknow is likely to witness cloudy skies and increased wind speeds during the day.Senior IMD scientist Mohammad Danish said areas in the terai belt and eastern UP may experience gusty winds and hailstorms. tnn
