SRINAGAR: Army and police foiled an infiltration bid along LoC in J&K’s Uri sector, killing a Pakistani terrorist early Sunday.“Based on specific intelligence input provided by J&K police, a joint operation was launched. When challenged, the terrorist opened indiscriminate fire, prompting security forces to return fire,” Srinagar-based Chinar Corps of Army said.An AK rifle, pistols, and a large cache of ammunition were recovered from his possession.Army said the operation is continuing in the area, with security forces carrying out extensive searches to ensure no other infiltrators are present.
