NVIDIA used GTC 2026 to launch the Vera Rubin platform and a purpose-built Vera CPU for agentic AI, alongside BlueField-4 STX storage, the Dynamo inference operating system entering production, and DLSS 5 for gaming. The Nemotron Coalition brings together global AI labs around NVIDIA’s open model families. On the automotive side, BYD, Nissan, Geely, and Isuzu are adopting DRIVE Hyperion for Level 4 autonomy, and T-Mobile is deploying physical AI on its AI-RAN network infrastructure. The throughline across every announcement is NVIDIA positioning itself not just as a chip vendor but as the full-stack platform for agentic and physical AI – compute, networking, storage, inference OS, and now a CPU. That vertical integration play is something only Apple has pulled off at comparable scale, and NVIDIA is attempting it across an entire industry supply chain.
