BPSC TRE 4.0 recruitment 2026: The Bihar Public Service Commission has released a brief notification for the recruitment of teachers in schools through TRE 4.0, which includes more than 44,000 vacancies. The notification outlines key eligibility conditions, application timelines, and selection requirements for multiple teaching levels.The online application process is scheduled to begin in March 2026 and will remain open until March 2026. Candidates are required to complete fee payment within the same tentative window. The minimum age for the posts of primary and middle school teachers is 18 years, and for higher classes, the minimum age eligibility is 21 years.The maximum age eligibility for unreserved male candidates is 37 years, and for unreserved female candidates, the age eligibility is 40 years. For the candidates belonging to the BC and EBC communities, the age eligibility is 40 years, and for SC and ST candidates, the age eligibility is 42 years. The relaxation in age eligibility is based on the norms and guidelines prevailing in the field.Vacancy Details and Eligibility ConditionsThe posts to be filled by the candidates include primary teachers for classes 1 to 5, middle school teachers for classes 6 to 8, secondary teachers for classes 9 to 10, and senior secondary teachers for classes 11 to 12.The eligibility criteria may vary for each position. In general, for primary teaching posts, the eligibility criteria include a bachelor’s degree along with B.Ed, a diploma in elementary education, and CTET/BTET Paper I qualifications. For middle school teaching posts, the eligibility criteria include graduation along with D.El.Ed and B.Ed qualifications. For Classes 9 to 10, the eligibility criteria include a graduate degree and a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject along with B.Ed and STET Paper I qualifications. For senior secondary teaching posts, the eligibility criteria include postgraduate qualifications along with B.Ed and STET Paper II qualifications.
