Lucknow: Photographs of historic buildings, ghats and landscapes clicked by city-based photographer Anil Risal Singh and lensman and painter Anil Sharma from Varanasi are on display in a 3-day photography exhibition that began at UP State Lalit Kala Akademi on Wednesday. The exhibition will remain open to visitors from 11am to 6pm daily till Mar 27.Organised by UP culture department, the exhibition was inaugurated by chief guest UP regional organisation minister of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Anupam, in the presence of Akademi chairperson Sunil Kumar Vishwakarma.The exhibition features over 100 photographs by Lucknow-based Singh, including his work in black-and-white. Pictures of historic buildings and several landscapes of hill stations are among exhibits.Sharma’s repertoire comprises nearly 80 photographs as well as watercolour paintings of important cities, cultures and places in the country and nature. Vishvkarma said, “Singh is known for finding the unusual in ordinary and presenting everyday subjects in a striking manner.”
