Bahraich: A special POCSO court in Bahraich on Friday sentenced a man to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment after finding him guilty of committing unnatural sexual assault on a minor.The court also imposed a fine of Rs 51,000, with an additional six months of imprisonment in case of non-payment.Two years ago, a resident of the Rupaidiha police station area filed a complaint against an accused identified as Kishan, alleging that he sexually assaulted his minor son. Acting on the complaint, police registered a case under relevant sections of the POCSO Act and sent the accused to jail after investigation.According to special public prosecutor Sant Pratap Singh, the verdict was delivered by Special Judge (POCSO) Arvind Gautam, who held the accused guilty based on the evidence presented during the trial.
