IRB GD Constable Recruitment 2026: The Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board has announced the IRB GD Constable Recruitment 2026 notification, which has been published under Advertisement Number 04/2026. The notification is for the recruitment of 984 Group C positions in uniformed services, which includes Constable, Fireman, and Special Tiger Guard positions in the state of Arunachal Pradesh.Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website from 23rd March 2026 to 10th April 2026. This is for candidates who have completed Class 10 and are seeking entry-level positions in police and other related uniformed forces in the state of Arunachal Pradesh.Vacancy Distribution and PostsIn total, there are 984 positions available in uniformed forces, and the distribution is as follows: 44 positions for Constable Band in IRBn, 2 positions for Constable Bugler, and 236 positions for Constable in IRBn. Civil Police positions comprise 170 positions for females and 216 positions for males. There are 73 positions for Fireman and 243 positions for Special Tiger Guard/STPF.The positions are at Pay Level-3 with a scale of Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 along with applicable allowances.Eligibility and Age CriteriaApplicants should have passed Matriculation from a recognized board. In addition, candidates for Band or Bugler positions should have knowledge of music, whereas for the remaining positions, candidates should have appropriate physical standards.The age limit for the position of Constable ranges from 18-22 years. In addition, for the positions of Fireman and Special Tiger Guard, candidates up to the age of 32 years are eligible.Physical StandardsFor male candidates, height ranges from 152-165 cm. In addition, chest measurements should be between 79-84 cm. The written test will be objective type, carrying 200 marks, and will include questions on General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, and English.The candidates who qualify in the physical test will undergo a trade test, if applicable, and a medical test. The final merit will be prepared based on the written test, subject to qualifying other components.The written test will take place on May 10, 2026, and the PET and PST will start from May 25, 2026.Application procedure and fee detailsThe application will be online, and candidates will have to register by filling in a valid email ID and phone number. They will also have to pay a fee of Rs 150 for APST candidates and Rs 200 for UR candidates. The fee will be non-refundable.
