Lucknow: Seeking help after failing to obtain an LPG refill for several days, a temple priest approached Itaunja police station carrying an empty cylinder during the ‘Samadhan Diwas’ on Sunday.Satish Kumar, a priest from Akadariya Kalan village, told police that despite completing all formalities, including KYC and booking, he had been unable to secure a gas cylinder from the local agency for four days. He said the delay had disrupted cooking at his home, leaving his family without regular meals. Taking prompt action, station house officer Sobaran Singh contacted the concerned gas agency, sought clarification and requested priority delivery considering the urgency of the situation. Following this, the priest was provided with a filled cylinder.
