Lucknow: Panic gripped the Lucknow district court on Wednesday after a bomb threat email was received, prompting an immediate security alert and a massive search operation across the premises.Police, along with the Bomb Disposal Squad and other security agencies, rushed to the spot and carried out a thorough check of the court complex. Senior officers, including ACP Chowk Raj Kumar Singh and Wazirganj inspector Rajesh Tripathi, supervised the operation. Parking areas, courtrooms and adjoining premises were carefully scanned, but no suspicious object or explosive material was found during the search. Officials said security has been tightened as a precaution, with enhanced surveillance across the court campus. The cyber cell has been tasked with tracing the origin of the threatening email and identifying the sender. This is the second such incident in recent weeks. A similar threat mail was received on Feb 13, leading to evacuation and an extensive check at the court.
