PSTET result 2026: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), through the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), is set to release the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2026 results today, April 2, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their scorecards and the final answer key on the official website, pstet2025.org.The applicants have been advised to keep checking the official website for updates on the announcement of the results. Additionally, the board has stated that there will be no email or phone requests for corrections accepted from those who do not clear the exam. However, a window will be opened for the applicants to correct a few details over a period of two days.Examination conducted in two shifts in the state of PunjabThe PSTET 2026 exam was conducted offline on the 15th of March, 2026. The exam was held in multiple centers in the state of Punjab. The exam was held in two shifts according to the levels of teaching. Paper 1 for primary teachers, covering Classes I to V, was conducted in the morning shift. Paper 2 for elementary teachers, covering Classes VI to VIII, was conducted in the afternoon shift.• Direct link to check the PSTET 2026 result Answer key release and objection process completedThe provisional answer key was released by SCERT Punjab on March 16, 2026. The next day, i.e., on March 17, 2026, the candidates were given an opportunity to raise objections to the answer key. This process will be completed by March 21, 2026. After this, the answer key will be released to the candidates along with the results.Faster result processing marks significant shiftThe recent cycle has shown a decline in the days taken to declare the results. There is a difference of 18 days between the exam date and the result date. This is much lower than the previous cycle, where the exam was conducted on December 1, 2024. However, the results were declared on February 19, 2025. This is a decline of almost 80 days.How to download scorecard and answer keyThe candidates can download their scorecards by visiting the official website and entering their login details.Eligibility criteria and next steps for candidatesCandidates securing minimum qualifying marks, generally 60 per cent for the General category and 55 per cent for reserved categories, will receive an eligibility certificate. As per National Teacher Competency norms, the certificate carries lifetime validity and can be used for teaching applications across Punjab.
