Lucknow: The Lucknow International Airport Ltd inaugurated new city bus services from Terminal-3 at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport to improve the city public transport connectivity for air passengers and airport personnel.Launched in collaboration with Lucknow City Transport Services Limited, the initiative introduces two major city bus routes connecting the airport with key locations. The services aim to provide safe, affordable and reliable public transportation, encourage the use of mass transit, and reduce vehicular congestion in Lucknow.The services were flagged off by LCTSL managing director Amar Nath Sahai and chief airport officer, CCSIA, Darshan Singh, in the presence of senior officials from both organisations.“The launch of these city bus services reflects our joint commitment to enhancing passenger convenience, strengthening urban mobility, and promoting sustainable transportation solutions for the city of Lucknow.” said an airport spokesperson.The new services will operate on the CCSIA–Hazratganj via Charbagh and CCSIA–Awadh bus station (Kamta) via Shaheed Path. Strategically designed, these routes connect the airport with major commercial, residential and transit hubs, ensuring seamless last-mile connectivity and greater ease of travel for passengers.
