Lucknow: CM Yogi Adityanath will perform the ground-breaking and foundation-laying ceremony for the Greater Agra on Tuesday. The township and its associated development works are expected to cost Rs 5,142 crore. During his visit to Agra, Yogi will also review the model of the proposed township. He will also inaugurate and lay foundation stones for various other development projects in the district.He will also participate in the 452nd birth anniversary celebrations of Jagatguru Dwaracharya Shri Malooknath Ji Maharaj in Vrindavan.The Greater Agra township is being developed by the Agra Development Authority under state govt’s ‘New City Promotion Scheme’ and urban expansion plan. Under this, 10 modern residential townships will be built on 449.65 hectares of land in the villages of Raipur and Rehan Kalan.The newly developed townships will boast of well-designed parks, wide roads, uninterrupted electricity and water supply, and all modern public amenities.
