COIMBATORE: PM Narendra Modion Saturday said a new chapter is being written in the politics of Tamil Nadu, and people are giving a clear message that “NDA is in and DMK is out”. At a poll rally in Coimbatore, Modi said many Tamil women from ordinary families would have become MPs and MLAs if the women’s reservation bill had been passed. “A noble effort got derailed. DMK, Congress and allies made it a target of hatred and petty politics.” He asked, “Why does it trouble DMK and Congress to see ordinary women rise?”, adding women in the state have agreat opportunity on April 23 to teach DMK a lesson. Attacking CM M K Stalin over dynastic politics, Modi said: “DMK’s policy is ‘by the family, of the family and for the family’. The CM, deputy CM, MPs, (and) the media houses are controlled by one family. There is a big competition between son and son-in-law. The competition is for who is involved in greater corruption. India is tired of a son and son-in-law, and Tamil Nadu is also facing the same situation.”
