Lucknow: UP govt will organize a three-day “Rashmirathi Festival” from April 24-26 at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow to mark the death anniversary of Rashtrakavi Ramdhari Singh Dinkar.The event will feature three plays and one dance drama, said agriculture minister Surya Pratap Shahi during a press conference at Lok Bhavan on Saturday.The event is being organized to mark 75 years of Dinkar’s famous work Rashmirathi. Shahi also announced that a commemorative publication titled ‘Rashmirathi Samvad’ will be released.Chief minister Yogi Adityanath will be the chief guest, while Union agriculture minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be the keynote speaker. The event is being coordinated by Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Dinesh Sharma will preside over it. Tourism and culture minister Jaiveer Singh will be special guest and BJP functionary Neeraj Singh will be co-coordinator.
