Singer D4vd has reportedly been transferred to the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown Los Angeles, where he is being held awaiting trial in the alleged murder of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose decapitated and decomposing body was found in his abandoned car.According to jail records, TMZ reports, the singe, whose real name is David Burke, was moved to the facility and placed in administrative segregation. He has not been placed under suicide watch. As per the report, he was kept separately due to his public profile, though authorities have not issued a detailed statement.The facility also houses other inmates, including Nick Reiner, who has been in custody since late last year for allegedly stabbing his parents Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner to death. Nick entered a not guilty plea on February 23. He faces two counts of murder with an enhancement that could result in either the death penalty or life imprisonment without the possibility of parole if convicted.D4vd is facing multiple charges linked to the death of Celeste, who was a minor at the time of her passing. The murder charges included special circumstances – lying in wait, committing crime for financial gain and murdering the witness in an investigation – that could carry the death penalty. Prosecutors haven’t announced whether they will seek it.Amid the ongoing investigations, a news report on The Post claims that D4vd started messaging Celeste when she was just 12 years old, after internet sleuths dug up alleged evidence that suggests their relationship went as far back at 2022. The singer’s relationship with Rivas sparked rumours among fans who claimed that he was dating a 13-year-old named Celeste, according to screenshots on fan chatrooms in 2024.The report further states that later the same year, fans on Discord discussed rumours that he was indeed dating a girl with that name.Celeste, who lived in Lake Elsinore, was reported missing three times by her family. Her parents also informed the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office that she had a boyfriend named “David” and came home with a tattoo matching the singer’s.D4vd is being held without bail. He plead not guilty to all charges.
