Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi’s younger son, Aayushmaan Sethi, recently fell victim to an alleged credit card scam, losing Rs 87,000. The incident came to light through a vlog shared by his elder brother Aaryamann Sethi on his channel Aary Vlogs. While the situation initially caused panic at home, it soon turned into a light-hearted moment, with the family joking about Aayushmaan’s history with such mishaps—he had earlier lost Rs 80,000 in a similar scam.In the vlog, a visibly anxious Aayushmaan is seen saying, “My credit card got swiped for Rs 87,000.” Sitting beside him, Archana quickly reacted, “Just cancel it. Call up the credit card company.” Explaining the situation, Aayushmaan said, “They took the money for the entire year under the pretext of a seven-day free trial.” A stunned Archana repeated, “Rs 87,000?” before again advising, “Cancel the credit card.”As Aaryamann burst into laughter, Parmeet stepped in to correct her, saying, “Don’t cancel the card, cancel the payment.” Still confused and flustered, Aayushmaan asked, ‘Where do I look for that option?’ leaving the entire family, including Archana and Parmeet, laughing. Adding to the banter, Aaryamann teased him, “You cannot take this money from mumma-papa.” Archana chimed in, “This is your money.” Trying to justify himself, Aayushmaan said, “I did this for dad!” While Parmeet laughed at the remark, Archana quickly pointed out, “He will take that money from you. So what are you so happy for?”Parmeet then added, “I am not happy, I am just wondering how much he’s panicking over this.” As Aayushmaan tried to contact his bank to resolve the issue, he ran into another hurdle when the number didn’t go through, prompting a frustrated, “Really?”Aaryamann Sethi also brought up an earlier incident to highlight that this wasn’t the first time his brother had been scammed. Recalling the moment, he said, “When we were doing recce for my song ‘Choti Baatein’, Aayushmaan received a message saying around Rs 80,000 had been debited from his PlayStation account, which he never got back.”Clarifying what went wrong this time, Aayushmaan Sethi explained that the transaction happened without his consent. “Someone has taken money from my credit card without my permission. They had these options for seven-day trials, promising they would charge after the seventh day. But they charged me for the entire year in one go… without asking my permission,” he said.Reacting to the situation, Parmeet Sethi remarked, “You are always in a hurry.” Aayushmaan, clearly annoyed, replied, “I wasn’t in a hurry. And I was doing your job.” He went on to add, “You guys are not dealing with this. I am dealing with this. Nobody has any expertise here, I will fix it myself.” His confident declaration once again left the entire family in splits.
