Lucknow: A large number of people, including those with disabilities, joined the Samavesh Run event held in the city on Sunday.The run started from the hospital’s Gate No. 2, went up to Lohiya Chauraha and returned to the campus. Multiple categories — 10 km, 5 km, 2 km and 1 km — allowed people of all fitness levels and abilities to participate.Organiser Surabhi said the aim was to encourage society to move beyond sympathy and ensure equal participation for disabled people. “Inclusion should be part of daily life, not just events,” she said.The run was flagged off by doctors from Max Hospital, including Dr Walliulah Siddiqui and Dr Rahul Yadav.It was organised by Ridaan Array and Sukanya Ram Saxena Foundation in association with Max Super Speciality Hospital to promote awareness about inclusion of specially abled persons in everyday life.
