Kolkata: The NIA Sunday arrested one of the prime accused in the Bhangar bomb blast case in Bengal, in which one person was killed and three others were seriously injured in March this year. The explosion had taken place in Dakshin Bamunia village of Bhangar area. The accused, Ahidul Islam Molla of South 24 Parganas, was produced in court Monday and sent to NIA custody. Another accused was arrested earlier by the state police. Molla’s arrest coincides with Union home ministry’s decision on Saturday to transfer the probe into the recovery of bombs from Bhangar to the NIA.
