Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan will be back in uniform and taking over screens with his long-awaited crime drama ‘Kartavya’, finally getting its release date.After a long three-year wait, the makers finally announced that the film will get its streaming debut this summer. As per Variety India, ‘Kartavya’ has locked its premiere date on Netflix for May 15, 2026.Backed by Shah Rukh Khan’s production house and directed by Pulkit, the film has been awaiting its release for several years, before finally scoring its streaming debut.Expressing his enthusiasm, Saif said during the first look launch, in a statement, “‘Kartavya’… is a lovely piece by director Pulkit, and I’m really happy that it’s coming out on Netflix.”Kartavya movie plotAs per the report, set in the heartland, ‘Kartavya’ explores the complex intersections of law, family, truth and duty. follows a police officer caught in an intense moral conflict, even as escalating threats endanger his family.
