Lucknow: Several students from the city narrowly missed a perfect overall score while securing full marks in multiple subjects in the Class X and Class XII board results declared by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Thursday.Among the top Class X performers were Vaivaswat Narayan Dubey of CMS Gomti Nagar, who scored 99.8%.He achieved a perfect 100 in five subjects — English Literature, Hindi Literature, Mathematics, Physics and Biology.Vaivaswat attributed his success to steady effort and learning from mistakes. He said he remained consistent in his studies and ensured that he did not repeat errors in school tests and examinations. His father, Shiv Narayan Dubey, is an assistant excise commissioner, and his mother, Vaidehi Dubey, is a lecturer at Karamat Husain Muslim Girls College.Another strong Class X result came from Karthik Agarwal of Seth MR Jaipuria School, who scored 99.2%. He secured full marks in History, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and English Literature. Karthik said his strategy was to stay fully focused in class and revise lessons regularly after returning home.In Class 12, Seth MR Jaipuria student Akshita Agrawal scored 99.75%, with perfect 100s in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science, along with 99 in English. She credited consistency, confidence and resilience for her achievement, saying that believing in herself and maintaining discipline made the difference.Chhavi Mishra of CMS Kanpur Road also scored 99.75% and secured full marks in three subjects. She said students should listen to their teachers, adding that discipline, sincerity and respect for mentors are essential for success.Zainab Fatima of CMS Aliganj matched the 99.75% score and also earned three perfect 100s. She said she gave equal attention to all subjects, followed a strict study schedule and stayed stress-free by taking breaks and pursuing hobbies such as reading and painting. Osheen Agarwal of CMS Mahanagar was another student to score 99.75%, reflecting a broader trend of exceptional performances across city schools.At La Martiniere Girls’ College, Naira Safi Khan and Vanya Mehra scored 99.25% each in Class 12. Seth MR Jaipuria’s Sarthak Mishra also scored 99.25%, securing full marks in History, Political Science, Physical Education and Geography. Aspiring to become a civil servant, Sarthak credited his parents for their support and said consistency and self-belief helped him handle pressure and perform well.
