Lucknow: Several sportspersons from Lucknow have written to chief minister Yogi Adityanath, thanking him for the development of a skating ground at the Janeshwar Mishra Park in Lucknow’s Gomti Nagar.In their letter, they have described the project as ‘the result of visionary and youth-centric leadership’, providing children, who earlier used to practice on roads, with a safe, and modern environment. The children using the facility added that govt had taken them from the streets to the stadium, and now their goal is to reach from the stadium to the international stage.The players mentioned that they had met the CM on July 16, 2022, when they had placed their problems before him. They say that the assurance received that day has now materialised into the skating rink.
