Departmental proceedings have been initiated against another assistant engineer of Jal Nigam (Rural), while a show-cause notice has been issued to the executive engineer concerned.In addition, all officers and staff of third-party inspection agency TPIL BLG posted in Bareilly have been removed, and a financial penalty has been imposed on the firm.Govt has also issued notices to blacklist both NCC Limited and TPIL BLG in connection with the incident. A Technical Audit Committee (TAC) has been constituted to conduct a preliminary probe into the collapse. It will submit report within a day.Singh said further action will be taken after reviewing the TAC report, indicating that accountability will be fixed at all levels involved in the project.
