The deceased, Sachin alias Kalia (30), was a resident of Revatapur under PGI police station limits. His body was found behind a school in Sector-8 of Vrindavan Yojana along the Lucknow-Nagram road. Police said the body appeared to be around two days old.Officials said Sachin was named in cases including murder and attempt to murder.Police sources said a possible relationship with a married woman has emerged as a key angle in the investigation. Two persons have been detained and are being interrogated.The victim’s brother, Vivek Yadav, claimed that Sachin had received threats from their uncle Vijay over an ongoing land dispute.According to the family, Sachin had stepped out on Sunday evening but never returned.ADCP, south zone, Vasant Kumar said that the police are examining all possible angles — including personal rivalry, criminal background, land disputes, and the alleged relationship. Forensic teams have collected evidence from the scene, and further action will depend on post-mortem examination findings.
