KOLKATA: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education announced the Madhyamik results on Friday, recording an overall pass percentage of 86.83%. This marks a slight increase from last year’s pass percentage of 86.56%. Among the districts, Kalimpong recorded the highest pass percentage at 95.10% followed by East Midnapore at 94.82%, Kolkata at 92. 3192.31%, West Midnapore at 91.40% and East Midnapore at 90.85%. In total, 1.46% of students secured an A+ grade (90–100). This year, a total of 9,01,724 regular students appeared for the examination.A total 131 students from 19 dists are among first tenth ranks. Avirup Bhadra stood first securing 99.71% from Sarada Vidyamandir from Raiganj.
