NEW DELHI: PM Narendra Modi will depart for a five-nation tour on Friday, beginning with the UAE, said govt in an official announcement. Modi will visit the UAE, Sweden and the Netherlands on his way to Norway for the India-Nordic summit that was postponed last year in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terrorist attack.Modi will later also travel to Italy. During his stopover in the UAE, the PM will meet President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The two leaders will have the opportunity to exchange views on bilateral issues, including energy cooperation, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest. This will be his first visit to a Gulf country since the war started on the West Asia region.
