Lucknow: Residents of Vishal Khand in Gomti Nagar have raised concerns over an allegedly dug-up service lane that has remained unrepaired for more than a week after PNG pipeline work carried out by Green Gas Ltd (GGL).The affected stretch is located near Manoj Pandey Crossing, where pipelines were laid to provide PNG connections to a few houses in the locality.According to residents, the road was dug up around 8-10 days ago for installation work, but the stretch has not yet been properly filled or restored.Residents said the incomplete restoration could become risky during rainfall, especially with the monsoon approaching.Former state election commissioner Satish Agarwal, a resident of Vishal Khand, said residents contacted the company several times requesting repairs, but the condition of the lane remains unchanged. He said, “The workers of the company had assured locals that the road would be restored immediately after the pipeline installation work.”Residents expressed concern that weakening the dug-up portion potentially damaged the road and created safety issues for pedestrians and nearby households.Locals demanded that the company should complete repair work at the earliest to prevent inconvenience.A senior official of GGL said the issue would be resolved in a couple of days.
