Lucknow: With the aim of enhancing employability, research and innovation opportunities, Dr Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University (DSMNRU) joined hands with Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI), Fursatganj on Wednesday. The collaboration seeks to provide students with industry-based training and hands-on exposure to modern technologies. Both institutions will jointly undertake academic activities and research initiatives in the fields of orthotics, prosthetics, footwear, fashion, and retail.“The collaboration will facilitate faculty and student exchange programmes between the two institutes. Students will be introduced to the latest advancements in footwear technology, fashion technology, retail management, prosthetics, and orthotics,” said DSMNRU vice-chancellor Prof Sanjay Singh.
