Lucknow: Hardoi police have registered an FIR against two named individuals and an unidentified person for allegedly using a forged order bearing the fake signature of the additional district magistrate (judicial) to facilitate the sale of a piece of land that was under litigation in court. The case pertains to a land transaction in Kakrakheda village of Bilgram tehsil, where a sale deed was executed despite an ongoing legal dispute over the property.According to officials, an inquiry into the land registration revealed that a case involving the property was pending before the ADM court. The dispute was reportedly between two private firms. Revenue records and reports submitted by the Bilgram tehsildar indicated that the matter was under consideration and was reflected as pending on the Revenue Court Computerised Management System portal. The alleged fraud came to light during scrutiny of the sale deed, when authorities found that an order purportedly showing disposal of the case had been fabricated to conceal the pending litigation and facilitate the transaction.Based on the findings, Rajesh Kumar Pal, principal assistant and court clerk in the ADM court, lodged a complaint alleging that forged court orders carrying fake signatures of the ADM had been used for the purchase and sale of the disputed land.Police have named Ram Kumar, son of Bahadur and a resident of Kakrakheda village, as the seller, and Ram Kishore, son of Vishambhar, as the purchaser in the FIR. A case has also been registered against an unidentified person suspected of involvement in preparing or facilitating the forged documents.Bilgram Kotwali police have initiated an investigation and are examining the alleged forgery, the circumstances under which the sale deed was executed, and the role of all persons involved in the transaction. Further legal action will be taken based on the findings of the probe.
