The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an official notice informing schools about a dedicated dashboard for Principals and Heads of School (HoS) to monitor the Online System for Marking (OSM) mock evaluation process. The board has directed that all teachers must log in to the OSM portal and complete the practice session. To streamline implementation and address login-related issues, CBSE has now enabled school heads to track participation and update teacher details directly through the dashboard. The move aims to ensure that teachers teaching Classes XI and XII are fully prepared for the upcoming main evaluation under the OSM system and that no teacher is left out due to incorrect contact information in OASIS.
OSM Dashboard launched for Principals and HoS
CBSE has developed a dedicated OSM dashboard to help school heads facilitate and monitor the mock evaluation process. Principals and Heads of School can log in using the credentials sent to their registered email IDs.Once logged in, they can access complete data related to their school. The dashboard displays the total number of evaluators, teachers who have completed the practice session, teachers who have logged in but not finished the session, the number of answer books evaluated, and those who have not yet logged in.This real-time monitoring tool enables school authorities to identify gaps and ensure that all eligible teachers complete the mock evaluation within the stipulated time.Check the official notice issued by CBSE here.
Login credentials being sent via email and OTP
CBSE has informed that login credentials are being sent to teachers on their registered email IDs. In addition, OTPs are being sent to the mobile numbers updated in OASIS.While a large number of teachers have already received their login details, some have faced issues due to incorrect or outdated email IDs in the OASIS database. This has prevented them from accessing the OSM portal and completing the mock evaluation. To address this issue, CBSE has advised schools to facilitate correction of teacher data with the help of the Principal or Head of School.
Option to update OASIS details through dashboard
The OSM dashboard also provides an integrated link to update teacher details in OASIS. Principals can correct email IDs and mobile numbers directly through this facility.CBSE has clarified that after updating the details, it may take up to six hours for the system to process the changes. Once the correction is completed, login ID and password will be sent to the updated email address, and the OTP will be sent to the revised mobile number. The board has emphasised that maintaining accurate and updated contact information is essential for smooth communication and uninterrupted access to the OSM platform.
All Class 11 and 12 teachers must complete practice session
CBSE has instructed school heads to regularly access the dashboard and closely monitor the ongoing OSM practice session. It has made it mandatory for all teachers teaching Classes XI and XII to log in and complete the mock evaluation at the earliest. The board stated that timely completion of the practice session will ensure that teachers are fully familiar with the Online System for Marking before the commencement of the main evaluation process.Schools have been advised to take immediate action to avoid delays and ensure full compliance with CBSE’s directions.
