The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the application window for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026. The entrance test will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from May 11 to May 31, 2026, on a tentative basis. The exam will take place across India and in select cities outside the country. The online registration process had closed earlier this month after extensions. However, following requests from candidates, NTA has provided a special opportunity to apply again. The reopened window will remain active from February 23 (afternoon) to February 26, 2026 (11:50 PM). Candidates who missed earlier deadlines can now complete their registration and fee payment within this limited period.
CUET UG application window reopened till February 26
NTA said the CUET-UG 2026 application process was first open from January 3 to January 30, 2026. The last date to pay the application fee was January 31 (11:50 PM). Later, the deadline was extended to February 4, and fee payment was allowed till February 7.After receiving several requests for more time, the agency decided to reopen the form submission and fee payment facility. The new window started on February 23 (afternoon) and will close on February 26 at 11:50 PM. This is a special extension.
