Ayodhya: A poignant incident in Revli village, located within the Khandasa police station area of Ayodhya, brought tears to everyone’s eyes on Sunday .Eighty-year-old Bhagwan Tiwari died of old age in the wee hours of Sunday. His funeral was performed in the morning, but his wife could not bear the separation from her husband for long. Just a few hours after the funeral, she too breathed her last. The death of both husband and wife the same day brought a mountain of sorrow upon the family. When Bhagwan Tiwari’s bier was carried out in the village, no one had thought that a few hours later, his wife’s final journey would also depart from the same house.According to villagers, Bhagwan Tiwari’s funeral was performed at around 11 o’clock in the morning. In the afternoon, Bhagwan Tiwari’s wife’s Sachi Tiwari (75) health deteriorated. Before the family members could understand anything, she too breathed her last.Villagers say that Bhagwan Tiwari and his wife had been together for several decades. The two were always with each other in happiness and sorrow. Even in their advancing age, they were each other’s support. This is the reason why the people of the village are viewing this incident in connection with their unbreakable love and deep bond.
