Lucknow: Building on the success of training 780 youths and enabling 585 of them to secure jobs in its licensed area of Greater Noida, Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL) is now preparing another 500 youths for employment opportunities.Under its flagship CSR initiative, “Project Saksham– Skilling & Livelihood Program,” NPCL will train 500 local youths in industry-relevant skills, enhancing their employability and supporting sustainable livelihood opportunities.Starting from July 2026, under this program, NPCL will provide free training to local youths in six different trades and help them secure employment opportunities. All training activities, including assessment and certification by the respective SSCs, are scheduled to be completed by February 2027. The NPCL aims to achieve a 75% placement rate under the program this year.NPCL CSR Head Meghna Dosi said, “We are committed to empowering local youths, particularly those from economically weaker sections, by providing skill-based training and enabling them to access meaningful employment opportunities.”
