JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Police Friday claimed to have busted a terror support network in Kishtwar district with the arrest of two overground workers, including a govt employee.Kishtwar SSP Naresh Singh said the duo — forest department staffer Tariq Ahmed Ginoo and Mohammad Iqbal, both residents of Tander — were involved in assisting and facilitating local terrorists in the district’s Dachan area. An FIR was registered against them at Kishtwar PS under relevant BNS sections, the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, and the Arms Act.Kishtwar Police had last month arrested two supporters of the ‘Saifullah group’ — Mashkoor Ahmed, a teacher in the school education department from Beighpora-Singhpora, and Maneer Ahmed from Bandeyan-Naidgam — for allegedly aiding foreign terrorists by providing shelter and logistical support in the district’s Singhpora-Chatroo area, the SSP said. They were booked in separate cases under UAPA and Arms Act.
