Lucknow: To accelerate preparations for the 2026-27 academic session, additional chief secretary, basic and secondary education, Partha Sarthi Sen Sharma will conduct a live YouTube session with over 6 lakh teachers of govt primary and secondary schools in UP on Tuesday.The session will focus on priorities, teaching strategies and action plans aimed at improving learning outcomes. A key focus will be the effective implementation of ‘NIPUN Bharat Mission’.Detailed discussions will be held on strategies to strengthen foundational literacy and numeracy skills among children from Balvatika to Grade 2. The session will also review ongoing and proposed academic interventions aimed at ensuring that students from Classes 3 to 8 achieve grade-appropriate learning levels.YouTube interaction will deliberate on integrating future-ready education, digital learning, ICT, environmental awareness, scientific temperament and critical thinking more effectively into school education.Guidance will also be provided on teachers’ continuous professional development, subject-specific competencies and capacity building.The session will be attended by all head teachers, teachers, Shiksha Mitras, instructors, teacher clusters and other departmental officials.
