Orla Prendergast produced another match-winning performance, anchoring the innings with a superb 63 from 44 deliveries. Her knock put Ireland firmly in control before she departed with just 21 runs still required.Rebecca Stokell and Louise Little kept their composure during the closing stages, with the latter sealing the famous win by driving the winning boundary over mid-on as Ireland finished on 129/4.Earlier, the West Indies struggled to build momentum after being sent in to bat, managing only 128/7 despite several batters getting starts. Ireland’s disciplined bowling and sharp fielding ensured the Caribbean side never managed to accelerate, leaving them with an under-par total to defend.
