NEW DELHI: In a major safety lapse, a girl cadet pilot was asked to deboard from a twin engine trainer aircraft at a Kanpur flying training organisation late on Friday (June 26) night with the propellers still running. As she was getting away from the plane, the propeller hit her back and sources say she got “grievously injured”. She is hospitalised, they add.The flying training organisation (FTO) allegedly did not report this accident to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). More details of the same and the action taken by authorities are awaited.
