Lucknow: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday heard grievances from people across several districts during the ‘Janata Darshan’ programme and directed officials to resolve each complaint within the prescribed time frame.He accepted applications from complainants and instructed departments to ensure that redressal is followed by a direct confirmation call to the affected person to verify satisfaction with the action taken.Addressing those who had come to present their issues, Yogi assured them of govt support and asked them to return home without worry, stating that every case would receive proper resolution.Among the complainants, a woman from Bareilly sought financial assistance for cancer treatment. When she was unable to immediately provide a hospital cost estimate, the chief minister asked her to obtain the estimate from the hospital and assured her that the govt would bear responsibility for her treatment. He also directed officials to facilitate her admission and ensure that she receives appropriate medical care.Revenue-related complaints featured prominently in the day’s submissions. The chief minister reiterated that encroachment would not be tolerated under any circumstances and said action against such violations would continue.He emphasised the importance of timely disposal of revenue cases, noting that delays in decisions deprive litigants of prompt relief and place a heavier burden on poorer parties. He instructed revenue officials to attend court proceedings regularly and deliver decisions without delay. He reiterated that providing timely justice remains the govt’s commitment and directed officials to ensure expeditious relief to those seeking redressal.
