NEW DELHI: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will conduct the first offline counselling for admission to its Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) programme on July 7 at the university’s Dwarka campus. The counselling process is meant for candidates who qualified in the entrance examination conducted for the programme.Seat allotment will also take place on the same day after verification of the required documents. The university has stated that admissions will be finalised on the basis of candidates’ merit following the completion of the document verification process.Documents required for counsellingCandidates attending the counselling session must carry a bank draft of Rs. 96,000 drawn in favour of the University Registrar. They are also required to bring four passport-size photographs, the CET admit card, rank card, the online filled application form, date of birth certificate and other prescribed documents for verification.Only candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance examination for the BMS programme will be eligible to participate in the offline counselling. Verification of documents will be completed before seats are allotted according to the merit list.Seat cancellation and programme detailsThe university has announced that candidates allotted a seat under programme code 142 will have the option to cancel their admission up to July 14 after the counselling process.The Bachelor of Management Studies programme is being offered at the university-affiliated Indian Institute of Packaging. A total of 60 seats are available under the programme for the current admission process.Official websites for admission updatesGuru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has advised candidates seeking participation in the counselling process to refer to its official admission portals for detailed information related to eligibility, counselling procedures and admission requirements.Applicants can access updates, notifications and other admission-related details through the university website and the online admissions portal before attending the counselling session. Candidates are expected to ensure that all required documents are complete and available at the time of verification to avoid any delay during the admission process.The university has scheduled the counselling at its Dwarka campus, where document verification and merit-based seat allocation will be conducted on the same day for eligible candidates applying to the Bachelor of Management Studies programme offered at the university-affiliated Indian Institute of Packaging.
