Jonathan Martinez, formerly running ad budgets at Uber and Coinbase, built a Claude Cowork skill that scores, scans, and generates paid social ads using a structured markdown file. He tested it against MarketerHire’s ad library – 110 creatives analyzed in minutes, producing an 11-page competitive teardown. The scoring framework weights six dimensions from hook strength to CTA conversion, and when multiple skills load together, Claude chains them into surprisingly detailed output. Paid media has been one of the slower marketing functions to adopt LLM tooling in any serious way, partly because the work is so platform-specific. Martinez’s approach treats Claude less like a chatbot and more like a configurable junior analyst with institutional knowledge baked in.
